Gosh. Massive apologies for the driest spells between posts but I’ve genuinely been drowning in my fair share of pitching, developing, re-pitching, grading, reading and writing, all so I could take a consecutive 4 day break to celebrate my recent birthday in Iceland (ooh la la). The week before my break it was also London Fashion Week, which I usually make an effort to attend. If I’m aspiring to make some decent Pop vids, looking towards Fashion for inspiration is inevitable, as is knowing what’s what and where to source it. Although I was far too busy to be air-kissing or parading in my latest wardrobe purchases (thank the lord for style.com), I did manage to make a quick stop to support my friend Nova Dando at her debut show.  It featured the amazing “House of Dangerkat” troupe and their high-energy club moves all sculpted by her one-off rainbow designs (as pictured). Here’s a shout out to Nova to congratulate her for her nomination for the best Styling in a Video at 2009 MVA awards for La Roux’s “Quicksand”.
